short film | drama | 8 min
written by Emile Schlesser & Fabien Colas
directed by Fabien Colas
produced, edited by Emile Schlesser
SYNOPSIS
Roxy is an aging prostitute, working in a lovemobile on the German-Luxembourgish border. After being rescued from a brutal attack, she meets Jeff, a mysterious young man, whose true intentions are unclear to her.
BACKGROUND
The inciting event for this film was a wave of violence in Germany, where hostile neighbours set some of these women’s trailers on fire, to show them their unwelcomeness in the area. Filmmakers Emile Schlesser and Fabien Colas felt compelled to shine a light on this issue by telling a heartfelt story about what it means to live this sort of life.
